Virginia Bluebells

18-24" tall x 18-24" wide, this beautiful member of the Borage family is a wild gardeners dream. It has beautiful flowers with pastel pink buds that open into true blue that attract bees and butterflies. It spreads, but not too quickly. The plant increases in size each year with almost no care. And its dependably hardy from zones 3 to 8. A great plant for spring bloom in shade. It likes moisture, and will do fine even in deep shade. (Deciduous, not evergreen.)
