The Story

15-18" tall x 18-24" wide. Golden Skipper Echinacea (Coneflower) has lemon-yellow blooms that attract scores of pollinators to the garden. Their compact size is ideal for small urban gardens and equally at home in meadows or formal plantings. The Butterfly™Series of Echinacea features pint-sized plants selected for their intense color and superior garden performance. Truly hardy and quick to establish, Butterfly™Series Echinacea bloom with abandon over a long season from early to late summer. The series is named for the abundance of butterflies visiting breeding fields in the Netherlands where this variety originated. Golden Skipper Echinacea produces lovely seed heads in autumn that invite goldfinches and other songbirds to forage. Coneflowers preform best in full sun with moderate moisture and well-drained soil. Plants are deer-resistant and drought tolerate once established.
