Lily-Flowered Tulips are defined by their slender vase-like form and pointed petals. The petals close at night and open with the warming sun, recurving slightly to produce a star shape when viewed from above. These elegant blooms have thin stems and dance with the breeze. Plant them in a location sheltered from strong winds. For the best performance in full sun (at least six hours) and well-drained soils. Deadhead spent blooms, but allow the foliage to mature and die back naturally to encourage another year of blooms.
